The 2021 vintage was challenging but we generally pick our pinot noir grapes earlier, in order to make the Lenz Cuvee (i.e. our methode Champenoise sparkling wine, which has for years now been 100% pinot noir).  Since the Blanc de Noir is also made from these pinot noir grapes, this wine had no issues arising from the somewhat challenging 2021 weather conditions.

This wine exhibits the normal style of a very clean, light wine, with delicate flavors.  The Blanc de Noir is also a low-alcohol wine, perfect for summertime.  There are notes of white cherry and strawberry; also of melon (across three tasters, we had suggestions of watermelon, musk melon and casaba melon).
