2015 Old Vines
A medium-gold straw color in the glass - - a little darker than the 2016.
Also like the 2016, the 2015 when poured has some funky ‘reduced’ character including a petrol note (sounds odd, but we see all this as a good thing!), which blows off with a few swirls.
This wine is very rich on the palate and well-structured with a good backbone. It’s got a soft, sweet mouthfeel and its flavor notes include the following: “Nectarine, honeycomb, jasmine, cedar, dried apricot, honey”.
